About

Meet Lucia Bobadilla

I was nine years old when my family left the Dominican Republic for the United States. I remember what it felt like to start over in a new country and a new language, and how much it meant when someone took the time to help. That experience is why I became an immigration lawyer.

Today I'm proud to serve my community as its advocate, in English y en español.

How it works

A clear path, from start to finish

1

Consultation

We meet in person or by video. You tell me your story; I listen and explain your options.

2

A clear plan

You get an honest assessment of your case, a written plan, and clear fees up front.

3

Preparation & filing

I gather your evidence, prepare your forms, and file with USCIS, the Department of State, or the immigration court.

4

With you to the end

Interviews, hearings, requests for evidence: I stay by your side and keep you informed in your language.

A warning about “notarios”

In many Latin American countries, a notario público is a lawyer. In the United States, a notary cannot give legal advice or prepare your immigration case. Only a licensed attorney or a DOJ-accredited representative can. Before you pay anyone, ask to see their license.
